10,000 Thank Yous

WordPress has informed me that my little blogsite has now passed 10,000 all-time views!

I know, many of my fellow bloggers have had way more views than that, and good for them, but this is a big milestone for me.

I am genuinely grateful to all of you, from around the world, who have looked in on this site from time to time, many of you more than once, to read the mental ramblings of this old white dude from Texas. I hope you didn’t regret it.

Since I started this blog in April 2016, I have tried to be upfront with you about my life; who I am, how I feel, what I’ve experienced, and what little I know. Writing has always been a way for me to express what I can’t work up the nerve to say out loud. It’s my way of letting you in, from the safe distance of a computer.

It’s not always easy, and it’s not always pleasurable, but I hope it is, at least, always interesting.

And as long as you keep looking in, I’ll keep writing. (I’ll try, anyway.)

And if you like it, I don’t mind a bit if you want to share with someone else who you think might like it, too.

And if you don’t like it, sorry. I know I can’t please everyone, much as I wish I could.

Again, many thanks to all of you. With all the blogs that exist out there, I am honored you took a moment to visit this one.

Blessings on all of you, and take care.

Later, y’all! 🤠

  1. Congrats, muchacho! I’m glad to have stumbled upon your blog, since it’s always great to find someone of like mind and temperament and realize you’re not floating along in a vacuum. Blogs are like little islands, but they let us know we’re all connected.

    Here’s to 10,000 more views!
